Orders may be dispatched after completion of relevant checks, including:

  • payment confirmation;
  • address and pin-code verification;
  • product availability confirmation;
  • order acceptance by STCNET;
  • packaging and fulfilment readiness;
  • KYC or regulatory check, where applicable;
  • fraud, risk, or compliance review, where required.

STCNET may dispatch different products from the same order separately where
required due to product availability, warehouse location, logistics constraints, or
operational reasons.

4.2 Dispatch Communication

Consumers may be notified of dispatch through one or more official channels,
including:

  • email;
  • SMS;
  • dashboard notification;
  • WhatsApp, where enabled;
  • logistics partner communication;
  • customer support update.

The timing and availability of dispatch communication may depend on system
status, logistics partner integration, and order processing workflow.

tracking link, where available.

Tracking may be available through:

  • STCNET account dashboard;
  • logistics partner website or application;
  • email or SMS update;
  • customer support;
  • order history page.

Tracking updates are provided by logistics systems and may not always update in
real time.

5. DELIVERY PROCESS

5.1 Delivery Confirmation

Delivery may be treated as completed when the product is:

  • handed over to the consumer;
  • handed over to a person available at the delivery address who reasonably
    appears authorised to receive delivery;
  • delivered after OTP, signature, proof-of-delivery, photo proof, scan, or
    other delivery confirmation process;
  • delivered at a pickup point, collection point, building reception, office
    mailroom, or security desk where selected or authorised;
  • delivered to a safe location only where expressly permitted by the
    consumer or delivery process.

STCNET may rely on delivery confirmation records provided by logistics
partners, subject to consumer complaint rights and verification.

5.2 OTP / Proof of Delivery

Where OTP, signature, identity check, photograph, or proof-of-delivery is
required, the consumer must cooperate with the delivery partner.

Consumers should not share OTP with any person unless they intend to accept
delivery.

Where OTP or delivery confirmation is shared by the consumer or authorised
recipient, the delivery may be treated as completed, subject to statutory
consumer rights and genuine dispute investigation.

5.3 Delivery to Authorised Recipient

If the consumer authorises another person to receive the order, delivery to such
person may be treated as delivery to the consumer.

The consumer is responsible for ensuring that the authorised recipient is
available and checks the package appropriately.

6. INSPECTION AT DELIVERY

6.1 Inspection by Consumer

Consumers are advised to inspect the package at the time of delivery to the extent
reasonably permitted by the delivery process and logistics partner.

Inspection may include:

  • checking the outer packaging for visible damage;
  • checking whether the package is torn, leaking, crushed, wet, opened, or
    tampered;
  • checking quantity of packages delivered;
  • verifying invoice/order details, where available;
  • recording photographs or videos where damage or tampering is visible.

Open-box inspection may not be available for all products, locations, categories,
or logistics partners unless expressly offered by STCNET.

6.2 Damaged, Tampered, or Suspicious Package at Delivery

If the package is visibly damaged, leaking, opened, tampered, expired, or
suspicious at the time of delivery, the consumer should:

  • refuse delivery where appropriate;
  • ask the delivery partner to record refusal or damage reason, where
    possible;
  • take photographs or videos of the package;
  • preserve packaging evidence;
  • notify STCNET promptly through customer support or grievance channel.

Refund, replacement, return, or further investigation shall be handled in
accordance with the Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy.

6.3 Acceptance of Delivery

Acceptance of delivery generally indicates that the outer package appeared
reasonably acceptable at the time of delivery.

However, acceptance of delivery does not waive the consumer’s rights for:

  • concealed damage;
  • missing item;
  • wrong product;
  • expired product;
  • defective product;
  • spurious product;
  • statutory rights under applicable law.

Such issues must be reported within the applicable reporting window under the
Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy.

7. DELAYED DELIVERY

Where STCNET becomes aware of a material or undue delay in delivery, STCNET
shall make reasonable efforts to inform the consumer through official
communication channels.

Delay communication may include:

  • revised estimated delivery timeline;
  • reason for delay, where available;
  • tracking update;
  • option to wait, cancel, or raise a complaint, where applicable.

purchase or beyond a reasonable period, the consumer may:

  • check tracking status;
  • contact STCNET customer support;
  • raise a grievance;
  • request cancellation where delivery has not been completed;
  • seek refund in accordance with the cancellation and refund terms
    disclosed at the time of purchase and the Returns, Refunds & Cancellation
    Policy.

Where cancellation is requested due to delay and the product has not been
delivered, STCNET shall process the request in accordance with applicable law,
logistics status, and the cancellation terms disclosed to the consumer.

Where delivery cannot be stopped despite cancellation request, the consumer
may be informed of the return procedure and, where applicable under law or
Company policy, the right to return the product at STCNET’s cost.

7.3 Delay Beyond STCNET’s Control

STCNET shall not be responsible for delay caused solely by circumstances beyond
its reasonable control, including:

  • courier network disruption;
  • natural calamity;
  • road blockage;
  • strike;
  • riot;
  • government restriction;
  • inaccurate address;
  • consumer unavailability;
  • payment verification delay;
  • fraud review;
  • force majeure;
  • regulatory or security restriction.

However, STCNET shall take reasonable steps to assist the consumer and provide
available updates.

Incorrect Address Address incomplete, incorrect,
untraceable, inaccessible, or non-
serviceable
Consumer Not Reachable Phone switched off, unreachable, or
no response to delivery calls
Refusal Consumer refuses to accept delivery
OTP / Verification Failure OTP, ID, signature, or delivery
confirmation not completed
Non-Serviceability Pin code, building, road, area, or
location not serviceable
Security / Regulatory Restriction Access restricted by building, society,
authority, law-and-order, or
regulatory issue
Payment Issue COD payment unavailable, rejected,
short, or disputed, where COD is
offered
Force Majeure Delivery prevented by events beyond
reasonable control

8.2 Delivery Attempts

The number of delivery attempts may depend on the logistics partner, product
category, location, and delivery mode.

STCNET or its logistics partner may contact the consumer for address
confirmation, rescheduling, OTP, directions, or delivery support.

Failure to respond or cooperate may result in failed delivery and RTO.

8.3 RTO / Return to Origin

Where delivery fails, the shipment may be returned to STCNET, vendor,
warehouse, fulfilment centre, or dispatch location.

Refund or re-dispatch after RTO shall be handled in accordance with:

  • order status;
  • product condition upon return;
  • consumer fault or non-fault reason;
  • logistics charges;
  • product category;
  • applicable law;
  • Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy.

8.4 Refund on Failed Delivery / RTO

Where delivery fails and the product is returned to origin, eligible refund shall be
processed after receipt and verification of the returned shipment.

Where failed delivery is due to STCNET-side issue, logistics non-serviceability not
disclosed at checkout, wrong dispatch, or Company-side error, the eligible refund
shall not be reduced for return shipping.

Where failed delivery is due to consumer-side reasons such as wrong address,
repeated unavailability, refusal without valid reason, OTP failure, or non-
cooperation, STCNET may deduct disclosed logistics, RTO, or handling charges
where lawful and disclosed.

No deduction shall be made in a manner inconsistent with mandatory consumer
protection law.

9.2 Return Pickup

Where return pickup is available, STCNET may arrange pickup through its
logistics partner.

Consumers must follow pickup instructions, keep the product ready in required
packaging, provide invoice/accessories, and cooperate with pickup verification.

Where pickup fails due to consumer unavailability or non-cooperation, STCNET
may reschedule or request self-shipment, subject to Company policy.

9.3 Self-Shipping

Where return pickup is not available, STCNET may request the consumer to self-
ship the product through a trackable courier.

Reimbursement of self-shipping charges, where applicable, may be subject to:

  • prior approval;
  • valid courier receipt;
  • tracking proof;
  • return reason;
  • product condition;
  • successful receipt and verification by STCNET.

10. RISK OF LOSS

10.1 Risk During Forward Delivery

STCNET bears the risk of physical loss or damage during forward transit until
delivery confirmation, subject to consumer cooperation, correct address, and
applicable law.

After delivery confirmation to the consumer, authorised recipient, designated
location, or approved pickup point, risk of physical loss generally passes to the
consumer.

This does not affect the consumer’s rights relating to concealed damage, wrong
product, missing item, defect, expiry, spurious goods, or statutory remedies.

10.2 Risk During Return Transit

Where STCNET arranges return pickup through its authorised logistics partner,
STCNET shall generally bear transit risk after successful pickup confirmation.

Where the consumer self-ships the return, the consumer should use safe
packaging and a trackable courier. Risk during self-shipping may remain with the
consumer until successful receipt by STCNET or its designated recipient, unless
otherwise stated or required by law.

10.3 Consumer Responsibility

The consumer shall be responsible for:

  • providing correct and complete address;

11.2 Logistics Partner Performance

STCNET shall take reasonable steps to work with suitable logistics partners and
monitor delivery performance.

However, delivery timelines and service quality may depend on third-party
logistics networks, local delivery conditions, courier capacity, route availability,
weather, regulations, and consumer cooperation.

STCNET shall not be responsible for delay, loss, damage, or misconduct caused
solely by a logistics partner beyond STCNET’s reasonable control, except to the
extent STCNET is liable under applicable law or where STCNET failed to exercise
reasonable care.

11.3 Third-Party Communication

Consumers may receive calls, SMS, WhatsApp messages, tracking links, OTP
requests, or delivery updates from logistics partners.

Consumers should verify delivery communications carefully and should not
share payment OTP, UPI PIN, card PIN, CVV, banking password, or payment
credentials with any delivery person or third party.
